Foreword ~
This started off like an episode of `In Search Of ...' with Leonard Nimoy. I've been wanting to write a story about the deepest cactus roots of Wallace and Ladmo it seems forever, and pay homage to the man who helped make it all happen. I knew that in order to tell this part narrative as historically correct as possible, using only limited material and memories, I just had to find `Mrs. Goldust  Charlie'.

Here's the second installment of The Edge Of Lunch. This bit introduces Dr. Bilko, a character that returned several times in the Lunch episodes. He seems cut from the same cloth as the Lawyer character in the first episode. Nearly every chapter of Lunch included one of my puppets, and Polly Esther is back in this one, although it's not clear if she's supposed to be the same character from the previous skit or a different one. Although there were characters and situations that reappeared in the bits, there was never any running narrative from one episode to the next.

The thing I like about this rather corny bit (written by Craig Dingle) is the way strange people just pop in and out of Polly's home. However, after the news she gets from Dr. Bilko, that's the least of poor Polly's problems...

And now, the continuing drama of-The Edge Of Lunch!
